Kevin D. Lokkesmoe, M.D.

Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Lokkesmoe graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy in 1980. He then attended Oral Roberts University, where he graduated from the School of Medicine in 1987.

Dr. Lokkesmoe completed his internship and residency at Martin Army Community Hospital. He also served in the US Army and was stationed here at Fort Benning. Dr. Lokkesmoe has been a staff member for a number of Columbus’s emergency departments. In October 2002, Dr. Lokkesmoe opened his own practice, Urgent Care & Occ Med.

Dr. L enjoys spending time with his wife, Maureen, his 6 children and 4 grandchildren. In his spare time, he can be found hiking in Pine Mountain or cheering on the University of Georgia, Bulldogs.

 


 

Clifton Confident, M.D.

Dr. Confident is a Florida native. He attended Rice University and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, Minor in Living Systems. He then went to Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Confident completed his internship and residency with Columbus Regional Healthcare. He joined the UCOM team in 2009.

Dr. Confident enjoys playing music and traveling.

 


 

Erica Nikki Parker, PA-C

Nikki is our only female clinician. She is originally from West Virginia, where she attended school at Alderson Broaddus College. She graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She spent 2 years in family practice before joining UCOM.

Nikki is married to a US Army officer who is stationed at Fort Benning. She is an orange soda and gummy worm fanatic. She spends her off time running and traveling home to West Virginia.
